No worries - considering how little I know about the kink/BDSM/poly ends of the spectrum I know I can't expect everyone to know everything about my particular corner of queerdom. :) There's a pretty comprehensive site called AVEN that covers loads of stuff. One of the main idiosyncrasies is the differentiation we tend to make between sexual and 'romantic' attraction, ie. the draw to be with someone in a special and intense way (though as someone who identifies as aromantic as well as asexual I should confess I'm not 100% clear on how that works); otherwise we're really not that different from any other orientation. Subtract gay and straight from bi and you get us! I think. (Can you tell that despite my comment-spam here I'm not actually that involved in activism?)
