In honor of the just-announced news that the Senate has voted to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell, I'm throwing open the gates on our MILITARY challenge. Bring on your queerly gen flashworks about military service, DADT, and the repeal! Crossposts and reposts are welcome -- we want the celebration spread as far and wide as possible. As always, all kinds of gen works are welcome, both transformative and original.

Please put your work in a new post to the community. Don't forget to check the tags and post with any that are appropriate - including the challenge: military tag. If you haven't posted here before, or haven't posted for a while, I encourage you to take a quick look at our guidelines for creators.

The challenge will run through Sundayish, January 9th, and we'll try to post some reminders along the way for those of you distracted by the holiday season. Go forth and create! :)
