Flashwork Challenge #7: Time Travel

Hi folks!

We haven't received any entries for this prompt challenge yet, so I'm going to extend it a couple of weeks. I know I've been madly working on a big bang and two other fest fics, so I'm hoping that's what you are all doing as well (or just on summer vacation). In any event, we'll keep this open until Monday August 22nd, so hopefully we can get some entries for our Challenge #7: Time Travel.

b) finding it a little hard to get my head around a prompt challenge and the queerly gen aspect all at once. So it'd be a non-pairing, queer-related story about time-travel?

It doesn't have to be non-pairing. It just has to be queer folk doing gen things. It can be a lesbian couple using a TARDIS to shop for fruit that's out of season or a single gay man going back in time to check out Victorian headgear or an asexual and a bisexual that aren't involved using a time turner to catch up on sleep after staying up all night studying for their potions exam.

Gen also doesn't necessarily mean no sexual or romantic content. That's one take on it, but it also can contain those things if they aren't the point of the story. There was a lot of discussion about what, exactly, counted back when the comm started up. For crunchy meta on the topic, try the mod: definitions and mod: discussions tags.

...I totally wanted to write something for this! Big bangs and RL got in the way. D: But I might be able to get something written in a couple of weeks. All things being not in some conspiracy to keep me from writing. D:

I thought big bang season might be getting in the way a bit. But yay, two weeks! You can do it!

Yeah, big bangs, and university starting up again. My life, it is so busy atm. D: But I can totally get something written. Mostly because I just remembered what I wanted to write. XD It's a historical RPS fic I started for AU bingo, but I never got more than a few paragraphs written. It's steampunk. There is a time machine. It's not world-building for my kinked big bang at all. Nono, of course not. Now I just need to finish it. :D

I'm quite excited now. :D Srsly considering letting them come to the future (er, well, now) so they can all get twitter accounts and smart phones. XD /priorities. Maybe I'll get two written for these guys. IDK. We'll see. :D
